1) If the policy is on yourself or a family member, it will be paid as-earned.
2) ASB will process once pending commissions reach $100. If the amount owed is less than $100, it will sit in pending until more business comes in.
3) Some carriers, such as Aetna and American General, charge minimal interest for advancing. These are not chargebacks or errors. These usually show at the bottom of your statement and are small amounts like -$1.14.
4) Turning 65 Medicare don't always pay in one lump-sum commission. They will often pay as a replacement commission first. Once CMS pays the first-time enrollment bonus to the carrier, the carrier will then 'true-up' the remainder of the commission. This can take 2 to 3 weeks after the initial commission is received.
