CURRENT COMMISSION SCHEDULE

COMMISSION SYSTEM DOCUMENTS

ABOUT THE ASB OneCheck SYSTEM

Commission cycle payments deposit every Friday.

Cycle cuts off on Tuesday nights.
Both statements and deposits must be received from carriers by this time in order to make that week's deposits.

Minimum deposits are $100. Any amount less than this will carry over on pending statements until more comes in to push it over the limit.

ASB OneCheck commissions are paid according to New Business Submission Forms. You can assign part or all of commissions to agents other than the writing agent. Submit forms carefully and in a timely manner. Per CMS rules, MAs, UHC Supps, Humana Supps and BCBS Supps can only be paid 100% to the actual writing agent.

Policies written on self or immediate family are not advanced. ASB, as well as most carriers, have a standing policy not to advance commissions for policies written on yourself or family members. Unfortunately, this is due to unusually high fall-out rates for this type of business. This will not affect Medicare.

Interest is charged by a few carriers for advancing. This is minimal - usual $1 or $2. This interest is calculated based on the un-earned advance balance. Examples of these carriers are Aetna, American General, Gerber, Cigna, and Medico.

Advance maximums/caps are applied by some companies. This mostly affects large life policies. However, it is important to understand these are NOT caps on commissions. You will still receive the same annual commission. It simply means that once the advance is reached, you will begin receiving the remainder on a monthly (as-earned) basis.

Exact advance limits may vary based on your commission level and applied formulas.                                    Below are approximate limits. Not all companies this applies to are listed here.
